Keep it Moving is a brand new online fitness video membership website. Founded in 2020 and run by Kimberly Dolan of Philadelphia, PA. Learn more about Kim here. Born out of a lifelong love of dance and physical fitness, Kim has taken her in-person dance fitness classes virtual!

Members get so many features, like live classes via private Zoom rooms, on-demand classes via videos on the member’s only section of the website, hip-hop dance choreography routines, fitness videos and even nutritional cooking videos! Find your favorite section and watch them all. Videos are added monthly.

Live virtual fitness classes are more common than ever during this unprecedented time of Covid and quarantine. KIM’s flagship offering is her live virtual dance fitness classes. With an extensive background of teaching dance and dance fitness classes in person at gyms and events up and down the East coast, Kimberly Dolan has mastered how to make working out fun and rewarding. The community that signs on for the classes is a big part of what makes KIM Keep It Moving special. It’s the best thing since the original at-home fitness VHS workouts!

What Makes K.I.M. Different

Instead of traditional, robotic aerobic moves that you’ve seen for decades, Kim’s movements are free flowing, expressive and dance-based. There’s no need for perfection in the moves to get the benefit of the exercise. Simply follow the flow of Kim’s example and your body will feel the positive effects. Things like flailing your arms in the arm, jumping around playfully, shimmying, side-stepping and rhythmic squats and lunges can all be expected in a KIM virtual dance class. What’s In A Class

Each class consists of a warm up, main section and cool down. There are two main types of classes, dance and circuit training. The dance classes are dance-infused, fun, aerobic style classes. The circuit training classes involve doing short standing and floor exercises in 45 second intervals, then repeating the sets throughout the class. These classes can also be done with weights/resistance.

Everyone is here for the same reason (fun fitness!) and encourages everyone else. There are no standards to meet. There is no competition between participants. Everyone moves at their own pace, in their own way. Kim is right there cheering you on throughout the class. Make sure you grab your water, and DRINK IT!

There is usually one virtual live fitness class a day except Thursdays and Sundays.

On-Demand Virtual Fitness Classes

In addition to the live virtual dance fitness classes, on-demand recordings of many classes are available in the virtual classes archive. Kim decided to make these recordings available for people that can’t always make it to a live class.

The best part about the recordings is that you can work out with them on your own time, AND you can watch them again and again! If you found a class with songs or moves you really like, you can keep coming back to it.
