Welcome to K.I.M. Keep It Moving NEW class: “Strollin’ With Dolan,” a walking fitness group. YES! An in-person class!!!

Why walk you may ask? First, walking provides many benefits to the whole body.  It’s a mind, body, and soul workout. Proven by studies and research, daily walking can increase/boost metabolism, help to alleviate joint pain, reduce stress, improve balance/coordination. (Just to name a few) Now, of course add some weights to it, and maybe a spur of the moment freestyle dance here and there!

Class Outline

  • Initial Meet
  • Stretch (5 – 10min)
  • 1st Walking Rounds (3): “Walk This Way” Leg-ready warm up.
  • 2nd Walking Rounds (3): Upper body
  • 3rd Walking Rounds (3): Core and lower body concentration
  • 4th Walking Rounds (3): “Walk It Out” cool down.
  • Ending Stretch

Prep Checklist

  • Dress in your activewear clothing and sneakers.
  • Don’t forget your water, sunscreen, and sunglasses.
  • Please give yourself ample time to find the park.


  • This class will include interval training with arm workouts while you walk. Yes, you can bring a set of dumbbells (only up to 5lbs), or even use wrist weights.
  • Weights are not necessary; you can still follow along with the exercises. I am here to show you how to intensify and challenge yourself on a walk but also in a safe/effective manner.
  • Oh, and during our walk, should you hear me say “DANCE BREAK” …get ready to Bust-A -Move!

K.I.M. Members, to sign up for this class just login to your account and follow instructions on the class page of the website. Participants per group is limited so this is a first come, first serve basis. As we move forward with this class, we will add more time slots so more can join us.

Public Class

Can non-members join? Yes, the general public (and friends and/or family) can sign up for the class. There is a fee of $10.00 per person for non K.I.M. members. Again, it is a first come, first serve basis.


Since our class is outside, we hope the weather will be great, but you know how that goes. So, if the weather conditions are not on our side, please always check our social media accounts and email for any class cancellations.


Check with your doctor before beginning any exercises and/or dance to avoid /reduce the risk of injury. Do not start any exercises if your physician or health care provider advised against it. If you experience faintness, dizziness, pain, shortness of breath at any time please stop moving. Perform any exercises at your own risk. K.I.M. Keep It Moving LLC will not be held responsible or liable for any injury sustained as a result of your participation in any K.I.M. Keep It Moving classes.
